Company’s Foundation fulfills five-year commitment to the Community Aquatic Center
MANKATO, Minn., July 11, 2008—The HickoryTech Foundation announces today a donation of $5,000 to the “BEST of Waseca” capital campaign for the Waseca water park. This donation is the fifth grant award totaling $25,000 as part of a five-year commitment.
"The Water Park is a keystone in our plan to institute positive momentum to the services and benefits provided to Waseca residents," said Roy Srp, Waseca mayor. "We are very grateful to HickoryTech for their commitment to our community and for helping make this facility a reality."

The Waseca Water Park, located along County Road 30 in Northeast Park, is in its second season of operations with attendance totaling more than 30,000 last year. The 11,000 square foot facility features water play areas, a 25-meter lap lane area, plunge pool, 180 foot flume slide, 106 foot speed slide, diving board, children’s water play features and sand play area, bathhouse, concessions, and a picnic area.
HickoryTech provides Digital TV, local phone service, long distance, and high-speed Internet to residents in Waseca, Minn. In addition, HickoryTech provides integrated business communication solutions including voice, IP, transport and network integration services.
